There is an aspect of permanence on a web forum compared to micro-blogging or IRC. I know I feel a reluctance or hesitation to posting and writing in general, in part due to the highly-exposed nature of posting on the Web in the 2020s.
Others have encouraged us to bring back the blogoverse and realize the benefits of long-form written conversations, personal websites (IndieWeb), and simple syndication with RSS or Atom.
Back on topic: one may wish to post their blog article here to stimulate discussion. So perhaps we add a Blog tag?
